Global Food Pro is jointly organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati – Karnataka and IMS Foundation, organisations with decades of credibility in strengthening India's manufacturing and trade ecosystem.
Laghu Udyog Bharati, is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes micro and small enterprises (MSMEs) across India. Founded in 1994, it has a large network of entrepreneurs and works to help businesses grow through training, mentorship, networking, and industry programs at national Levels.
Karnataka Laghu Udyog Bharathi actively supports local entrepreneurs by organizing development programs, industry visits, skill training, and business opportunities, while also hosting major exhibitions to connect small businesses with larger companies.
LUB-K also organises International Exhibitions – India Manufacturing Show, TechBharat, GramaShilpi. These exhibitions are held to bring MSMEs on the same platform with large PSUs and corporates in the manufacturing sector.
IMS Foundation is an independent, non-profit NGO and the apex body of Laghu Udyog Bharati – Karnataka. It focuses on supporting MSMEs, startups, farmer-producer organizations (FPOs), and rural artisans, with the goal of boosting manufacturing, quality, and innovation.
The Outreach being, to promote rural entrepreneurship, support MSME growth, foster and incubate startups, build sustainable agro-food processing ecosystems and livelihoods through Farmer Producer Organisations and agri- food processing entrepreneurship.
